HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Specifications
The Head of Business Development is a high impact role reporting to the CEO and responsible for customer data analysis, researching new markets and product diversification, providing business growth ideas and solutions through directing and managing business development activities.  This individual will develop and lead the Business Development Team in sourcing, managing, and implementing new business opportunities.  Superior analytical skills and intellectual rigor are a must for the candidate.  In addition, this individual will own and drive the sales and marketing analysis of data and related recommendations from the company’s ERP system.  It must be noted that this is not a sales and marketing position.

Requirements:

  • Fifteen (15) years of business development experience in progressively senior leadership roles (as Manager then Director and/or Vice-President) is required to be considered for this position.
  • Experience in the roll forming industry is preferred but not required.
  • Superior analytical skills and high level of curiosity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business is required; MBA preferred.
  • Desire to make a significant impact.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker regarding competitive strategy and business models; Experience partnering with the CEO and the senior leadership team to develop and execute the company’s business plan.
  • Experience in summarizing key risks and opportunities, strengths and weaknesses facing the company and making recommendations.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and computer (Microsoft Office) skills are required.
  • Strong leadership skills and be a self-starter with a “get it done” attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Prefer prior experience in a CRM environment.
  • Local candidates preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Present a budget for board approval and prudently manage resources within those budgetary guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines.
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
  • Impact the profitability of the company through execution of strategic and tactical management actions and decisions.
  • Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning.
  • Prepares analysis of sales and market drivers, value propositions to develop forward-looking insights to efficiently drive management decisions.
  • Identify and define new markets where the company’s products can be sold.
  • Identify and define new customers in those markets.
  • Prepare up to date competitive and market share analysis.
  • Identify product application and commercial trends in existing and new markets.
  • Prepare annual SWOT reports on our markets and commercial landscape.
  • Build, define and execute a disciplined sales planning program including reporting of performance metrics for new and organic business, order book to sales plans, and monthly forecasts.
  • Partner with the executive team to build a three-year strategic plan.
  • Execution and closing of merger and acquisition ventures in concert with the operating team.
  • Continuing self development.

ROLL FORM ENGINEER

We have an immediate opening for a Roll Form Engineer at our Mentor, Ohio location.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications to design and develop form roll and/or tube and pipe tooling products.
  • Design tooling using AutoCad and/or COPRA software.
  • Monitor design from start to finish, including various phases of production.
  • Work directly with internal departments to resolve design functionality issues prior to shipment.
  • Travel to customers and vendors to provide technical assistance as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to Sales department.

Requirements:

  • Technical certification or degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the design and engineering of roll form tooling using AutoCad.
  • COPRA software knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Proficient at Microsoft office products – Word, Excel, Outlook.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Roll-Kraft is a solutions-oriented manufacturer of roller dies and equipment for metal tube, pipe, and roll forming producers worldwide. Our design capabilities assist customers in producing an array of customized shapes of varying size and material. By providing our customers with an exceptional level of quality, service, and satisfaction, we've built solid relationships and enjoy partner-like associations.

The perfect candidate will have a passion for sales and possess a true "hunter" mentality with an enjoyment for finding solutions and selling value to customers. Your competitive drive to aggressively seek to outperform sales targets and a strong desire for personal success will yield an unlimited potential for financial enrichment. A self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills plus a talent for managing and visiting a large number of accounts is required.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in selling manufactured and/or industrial products. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related technical field is desired. Ability to travel a minimum of 50% is required. Successful candidates must be capable of interpreting and explaining technical data; effectively communicate with all levels of personnel; and have strong presentation and computer skills.

Salary structure will be comprised of a draw on commissions earned with a considerable commission percentage with "no salary cap".

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR - NIGHT SHIFT - MENTOR, OH

Roll-Kraft is seeking an experienced CNC machine operator for its night shift.  Knowledge of CNC controls, load and edit programs, ability to perform set up, read blueprints, and inspect machine parts using gauges and micrometers.  Strong reading, math, computer skills required.  Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.  Job requires frequent walking, sitting, stooping, crouch, bending, and standing.  This is a fast-pace environment that involves the ability to multi-task.
