Roll-Kraft was recently honored with two awards for safety by the Lake County Safety Council. One award was for reducing the annual incident rate by 25% or more over the previous year. The other award was for operating the entire year of 2005 without a single injury requiring lost time from work. These awards are presented annually and sponsored by the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Division of Safety and Hygiene in cooperation with the local Chamber of Commerce.
Workplace safety awareness is a priority for Roll-Kraft. Quarterly meetings keep employees up to date on current safety statistics and focus the attention of each person on looking for potential dangers in the work areas. In addition, there are safety procedures in place for many production-related activities. Constant diligence keeps Roll-Kraft safe and employees working to meet our customers’ requirements.
