Roll-Kraft has recently completed a series of tube & pipe and roll forming seminars at the headquarters facility in Mentor, OH. The seminars ran over a 2-day period and many manufacturers in the industry sent their personnel for the concentrated training.
Mr. Robert Sladky, Vice President of Tube Mill Engineering, and Mr. Bret Molnar, Roll Design Engineer, conducted the tube and pipe seminar, which covered topics such as the integrity and alignment of the mill, various setup preparations, and tooling maintenance.
The roll forming seminar was conducted by Mr. Sladky and Mr. Chuck Summerhill, Vice President of U.S. Operations. Topics included roll design, calculating strip width, pass layouts, setups, and downhill forming.
In addition to the regional seminars held around the country and in Canada on a periodic basis, Roll-Kraft offers seminars to individual companies who wish to train more of their personnel at one time.
