The Ardcor Mini Mill is a universal type roll former designed for the sections and price-conscious buyer. This machine combines the same durability and precision found in our conventional roll formers. To accommodate an optional Raft-type operation, each roll stand is driven individually by spring-loaded, quick disconnect universal shafts. Each roll stand is driven by a double output shaft gear reducer. The reducer includes hardened and ground steel spur gears and bronze worm gears. All machines are available with any number of stands and raft combinations to suit your specific present and future requirements.
Specifications:
Pinion Stands feature two output shafts on fixed vertical centers, mounted in anti-friction bearings and driven by a worm gear set. Hardened and ground spur gears are mounted on the back end of horizontal output shafts and are accessible and easily changed to provide the necessary gear ratio for any specific application. Each pinion stand is a completely self contained unit with its own oil supply and oil level sight gauge.
Mill Housings are of the open window design for mounting spindles, which are carried in bearing box assemblies with anti-friction bearings and proper lubrication fittings. Top spindle assembly is supported by large diameter adjusting screws equipped with micrometer dials for fast, accurate settings. Engraved scales and pointers permit rapid reference settings.
Top and Bottom Roll Spindles are driven from the pinion stands by universal couplings. Quick disconnect arrangement assures fast change-over of tooling. Universal couplings can be disconnected when necessary to idle roll shafts for certain forming applications.
Forming Unit and Pinion Stands are mounted on cabinet type, welded steel constructed bases reinforced for rigidity and accurately machined.

- Roll coolant system reservoir built in as integral part of the base with a centrifugal motorized pump mounted within the base. Includes sediment separator in line between reservoir and pump and is easily removed, box type screens
positioned drain opening. - Choice of fixed AC with air clutch/brake or AC, DC variable speed drives.
- Extra base length is available as part original equipment to increase machine capacity at a future date.
