From small 10-ton capacity to large 100-ton capacity Ardcor builds them all. Ardcor's advanced engineering gives every model accuracy, strength, dependability, design and construction to withstand the constant stroking required of today's high speed automatic roll forming and metal working operations. We build machines used for cutoff, prenotch, piercing and embossing. From the beginning to the end of your roll forming line, it pays to make Ardcor your source for completely integrated metal processing equipment. Ardcor equipment is designed to last. This means lower long term costs, improved productivity and increased profits.
Standard Press Data
To estimate the size of press you require, use the chart below, which is based on the flat, developed strip width for the section and the material gauge.
Note: For final size determination, be sure to contact ARDCOR.

Standard Press Data

- Flywheel type, non-geared, single crank, 4-post underdrive design. Rugged press frame of welded steel construction.
- Accurate machining insures proper alignment and functioning of component parts.
- Main frame mounted on welded steel sub base which has conveniently-located leveling screws for vertical adjustment to match section height.
- Lateral adjustment provided each side of press centerline.
- Shut height adjustment in head of press and is safe, fast, positive.
- On Model K10, rough shut height is adjusted by horseshoe type spacers on guide posts and fine adjustment is on the connecting rod link in the frame.
- Guide posts are hardened and precision ground and operate in manganese alloy guide bushings accurately machined and providing sufficient length for stability and true guiding of press head.
- Forged steel crankshaft mounted in Timken bearings.
- Flywheel is completely machined and balanced and runs on ball bearings. Connecting rods and trunion are of cast Meehanite (steel is used on larger press sizes).
- Steel die rails are accurately machined, hardened and precision ground to assure smooth, uninterrupted die travel
