Driven Stands can be considered as transmissions or gear boxes. They transmit power through the input shafts and into the output shafts (roll spindles) in a nice compact area. They are independently sealed units that give options for mill configurations and are considered very reliable and long-lasting gear boxes.

- Tapered roller bearings for durability and long life
- Double bearing support on spindles gives additional durability and better, longer lasting alignment
- Gearing arrangement keeps gearing fully meshed through a full range of adjustment
- Oil bathed gearing and bearings in gearbox insure long life
- External sight window to insure lubrication levels standard on most gearboxes
- Worm gears made of high quality bronze or equivalent to insure long life
- Gearboxes are completely sealed to keep lubrication in and contaminants out
- Spindles are precision ground, high quality, case hardened steel for wear resistance and durability
- Micrometer style dials and scales standard for vertical adjustment
- Single point adjustment feature with mechanical digital readout for repeatable adjustment and/or quick change set up available
- Single point adjustment feature available in both manual and motorized versions
- Units easily serviced and maintained
- Complete maintenance and rebuild service available
