Sales Representative - Expansion

As a market leader, Roll-Kraft continues its growth-oriented focus.  Our performance-driven staff strives to excel at all levels of customer service.  The perfect candidate for this position will:

  • be mechanically-savvy with the ability to sell custom-engineered products;
  • thrive on finding solutions to help our customers achieve their objectives, and promote value to customers;
  • have previous sales leadership training.

A self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills plus a talent for managing and visiting a sizeable number of accounts is required. Your accomplishments will help us realize our mission of becoming the most reliable supplier for the industries we serve.

Major Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain new accounts.
  • Manage and grow current accounts.
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, and plan customer meetings.
  • Obtain customer specifications and approvals to develop increased sales opportunities and margins.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing markets.
  • Establish in-depth relationships with customer organizations to keep abreast of competitive activity and share market information.
  • Regularly meet and/or exceed monthly and annual sales targets/goals.

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience of manufactured or industrial products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related technical field is desired.
  • Overnight travel (50%) will be required to land new customers in a niche market.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Adept at interpreting and explaining technical data of a mechanical nature to all levels of personnel is essential.
